1. Career Path- I asked my mentor, Andy, what got him to the place he is now regarding his career and what steps would be necessary for me to be in his position if I were to follow this career path. He told me that obviously furthering my education was a must. He took classes in college to get his bachelors degree in business. He also told me it took an incredible amount of willingness and determination to own your own small business.
Workload- Because Turn Key is a new, small business the workload is as balanced as it can be with a small staff. Andy, the owner, takes care of all contact information and keeping and gaining clients. His employees (cleaners, clerical workers, assistants, etc.., ) all do their part to contribute to the smooth running machine that the company is.
Tasks- I have found that I am best at being given projects that include typing, filing, organizing or creating some short of chart. I have become very efficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.

1.  What successes have you experienced?  What did they mean to you?

Any time I finish or complete a task given to me I count it as my own personal success; every spreadsheet created, folder organized and document scanned. To me it just adds to the grown up feeling I have while at my mentorship and lets me think about the career I might have one day with greater successes.

2. What setbacks have you experienced?  What did you learn from those setbacks?

During my mentorship I have made many small mistakes, but one stands out in my mind more clearly than the rest. I was working on a huge spread sheet packet of about 7 spread sheets. All needed to be complete at the same time, so I worked on each of them together. Well I had been at it for about 4 hours and then did not say my work once I was finished and the whole project was deleted. I think I learned more from this once mistake than I did from all of my success combined. It thought me that I need to be more careful when saving progress on a huge assignment!
